Seed Swap

Saturday, August 24
9:00 am - Noon

Do you have extra seeds?  If so, bring your extra seeds to  the swap.  Packaged your seeds in small packets and labeled with the botanical name and/or common name of the plant and exchange for other seeds you need or want. Leu Gardens’ horticulture staff will check in the seeds and place them in the right category, then you choose what seeds you want.It can be an even trad or you can donate as many seeds as you like. Fall is a great time to plant in Central Florida, so come out to the Seed Swap and start gardening. Commercial seed packs opened and unopened are allowed. Invasive plants are not allowedi n the swap.

If you participate in the Seed Swap you will receive free daytime admission into Leu Gardens the same day.

Jazz'n Blues Stroll

Enjoy live blues and jazz under Florida's starry sky. Three locations in the 50-acre garden will feature Central Florida's very best: bands to be announced. Pack a dinner picnic basket full of your favorite foods/drinks and bring chairs or blanket for this outdoor event.  Alcohol is permitted. Advance Tickets on sale Wednesday, October 2, 2013.

Advance Tickets: $17.00 plus tax General Admission, $12.00 plus tax Garden Member (members may purchase up to 4 tickets at member prices per membership) and $22.00 plus tax day of the stroll for members and nonmembers. Tickets are limited, nonrefundable and nontransferable to other garden activities. Free offsite parking and shuttles are available at Blue Jacket Park off General Rees from 6:00 pm until 10:30 pm.
