Memorial Program Honor a friend, your new marriage, the birth of a son, daughter or grandchild, a member of your organization or honor the memory of a deceased friend or relative. Give a gift of gratitude or commemorate a special day or event. The staff of the Gardens selects, purchases, places and maintains trees, garden benches and drinking fountains suitable for placement within the Garden. Contributions range from $300 to $5,000. Names of those honored and names of the donors are inscribed on a permanent plaque located on or near the gift. Recognition by card will be sent to all families of those being honored. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Trees Do Make a Difference Trees make a garden more attractive and protect existing under story plants. Additionally, by exhibiting a variety of different trees, the Gardens help inform our guests about different trees suitable of the Central Florida climate. Garden Benches - Rest for the Weary Garden benches not only offer a place for our guests to rest while touring the Gardens, they also offer unique ornamentation to the landscape. The selected benches are very comfortable, elegant and constructed of strong durable metal (not threatened wood species) and are designed to withstand years of use. Plaques are applied directly to the bench for greatest visibility. Drinking Fountains -- a Central Florida Necessity Garden drinking fountains are a requisite in Central Florida's climate. The cast iron designs present superb attention to detail and are accessible to physically impaired guests. Available as a memorial accompanied by a garden bench. Plaques are applied directly to the bench for greatest visibility.
