Leu Gardens
Leu Gardens offers Blooms and Buds classes for 3, 4 and 5-year-olds to enjoy. Each month a themed class will be offered and include fun interactive games, stories and activities that celebrate nature. The 45-minute classes are limited to 15 children. Each child must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.
Cost (includes child and parent/guardian)

- Non-Member $15
*Additional child cost $3
All children must be 3 – 5 years old.
Preregistration and prepayment are required.

Fabulous Flowers

Gorgeous flowers are all around, especially at Leu Gardens! We will see, smell and feel some beautiful blooms. We’ll discover why plants have flowers and play a fun flower power game. Each child will take a special potted plant home to grow. After the class, you and your child can visit the February blooms of Leu Gardens.

Animals abound on the Leu Gardens grounds! Through an active fun game children will discover and imitate the ways they move around. We will all take a trek together to a great wildlife watching spot and make a bird feeder to take home.
Life Underground and All Around

What’s below the ground we walk on? There’s an awful lot of life underground from roots to worms to – who knows what else! We’ll discover much of it and meet some live critters that prefer to live below the surface. The children will create a fun project to take home.

Buds need bugs and so do we! We will meet some backyard bugs and play some fun bug games and make a fun bug craft! If that’s not enough bugs for you, you can visit the Butterfly Garden with a Bug Bingo Card after class and see what you can find!
