We are monitoring the weather and hope that by the time Haunting Tales starts at 7:30 p.m. the rain will be gone. If we cancel the event, we will refund.
Leu Gardens’ presents a spine-chilling, storytelling event of the year! The Gardens’ gates open at 6:00 p.m. for those who dare to venture in early. Goose-bump stories begin at 7:30 p.m. with the wickedest of storytellers coming forth, one by one, to spin frightening tales. There will be a 15-minute intermission around 8:30 p.m. The second set of stories are scarier.
Pack a dinner picnic basket. Alcohol is permitted. Seating is recommended, either chairs or blanket, this is an outdoor event, weather permitting.
Food: Build Your Own Aprea will have delicious food for sale and Peak Season Pops will be selling desserts and yummy popsicles. Build Your Own Arepa Menu

Advance Tickets on sale Monday, October 17, 2022. Tickets are only available online.
- Advance Adult: $17.00 plus tax and online fees
- Advance Leu Member Adult: $14.00 plus tax and online fees, membership number required (Not applicable to AHS or any Reciprocal Garden.)
- Advance Child (age 4-17 years): $12.00 plus tax and online fees
- Children 3 years and younger are Free, you must register online for a free ticket
Day Of Ticket (for everyone, including members Friday, October 28, 2022) $20.00 plus tax and online fees, if available.

No pets, tents, tiki torches, hibachi, or grills.
Ticket information and cancellation policy: Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable to other garden activities. Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable unless event is canceled by Leu Gardens. If the event is canceled by Leu Gardens, refunds will be granted.
Questions:
How many tickets may a Leu Member purchase? Leu Members may now purchase unlimited amount of discounted adult tickets for this event.
Do Leu Members get a discount on child tickets? Great question! To keep the event affordable, we cannot offer discounts on Leu Member child tickets.
Why can’t I give my membership number to my guests to use to get the discount? Great question. It is a benefit for members not for nonmembers. Even better, encourage your guests to become members and support the gardens. Only Leu Members will be able to receive a discount.
I’m a Leu Member and if tickets are still available on the Day Of the event, can I still get my discount? Discounts for Leu Members only applies to advance sales.
It’s Sold Out and I didn’t get a ticket, do you have a Wait List? It is a popular event and seating area is limited, we do not have a Wait List.
What if it rains? A decision to have the event will be made by 6:00 p.m. on the event day. The event can be held in light rain, hand-held umbrella is permitted. If event is canceled by Leu Gardens, refunds will be granted.
