Fall Immunity Workshop + Crafting Homemade Fire Cider: A Hands-On Experience in Herbal Immune Support

Sunday, September 21, 2024

2:00 PM -4:00 PM

Instructor: Lauren Tanner

Join us for an enlightening, hands-on workshop designed to support your immune system as we shift into the fall season. Together, we’ll explore herbal remedies that ease seasonal transitions and strengthen your body’s natural defenses.

You’ll sample and learn how to make foundational recipes including elderberry syrup, nourishing seasonal oxymels, and mineral-rich immune broths. The highlight of the workshop is crafting your own batch of fire cider—a traditional, spicy-sour herbal tonic made with garlic, ginger, horseradish, apple cider vinegar, and your choice of herbs. You’ll learn the purpose behind each ingredient and how to tailor your blend to support your unique constitution and wellness goals.

Whether you’re new to herbalism or looking to deepen your seasonal wellness practices, this workshop will leave you empowered to create and use herbal allies to ease allergies, ward off colds and flus, and feel your best as the weather changes.

All supplies and ingredients will be provided for the workshop.

Lauren will provide an herbal craft market at the end of class to purchase handcrafted herbal remedies for common ailments. Payment can be taken via Venmo, Zelle, or cash.

Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before class.
