- ABOUT -

Join us for a fun & educational nature camp at Harry P. Leu Gardens! Campers will explore the gardens daily, participate in educational activities, and get creative with unique art classes. We are working with community partners such as Super Awesome Cool Pottery to deliver fun hands-on activities as well as local educational programs to deliver unique experiences such as yoga and animal encounters . Leu Gardens Discovery Camp features at least five take-home art projects such as: a pot made on a pottery wheel, canvas painting, painted pottery ornament, clay sculpture, and more! There will also be workshops and activities that explore astronomy and Earth sciences.

There are different themes every week, each with curated daily lesson plans - so your camper will have a unique experience every day!

What’s Included with Tuition: Daily instructional workshops and activities with qualified and screened educators, before and after care if needed, a camp t-shirt, and all supplies needed to make at least five take-home art projects.

What To Bring: Lunch, two snacks, labeled water bottle, hat, and sunscreen.

What To Wear: Camp clothes that can get a little messy and closed-toed shoes.

What To Know: Camp tuition is non-refundable. Campers are placed into classes based on grade level. Complimentary Before Care begins at 8 a.m., and After Care ends at 6 p.m. Leu Gardens Members save 10% on our Discovery Camp, membership ID will be verified after checkout.

• 9:30am - 10:30am: Garden Exploration
• 10:30am - 12pm: Learning Lab 1
• 12pm - 1pm: Lunch and recess
• 1pm - 2pm: Learning Lab 2
• 2pm - 3:30pm: Creative Corner
• 3:30pm - 4pm: Wrap-up and reflection
• 4pm - 6pm: After Care
