Instructor: Ali Suweyn
In this beginner class you will learn the basic knots to sculpt a beautiful handmade macramé plant hanger. You will choose from a variety colors to craft your unique piece. Ali will teach you the techniques to turn beautiful cord into a work of art.
All materials and supplies will be included for the plant hanger.
Plant is not included.
Ali Suwen has taught classes in making macramé’s (the art of knotting cord) since1977. With dedicated practice and skill her knowledge grew. Through the years she has made many projects from plant hangers, hanging shelves and elaborate wall hangings.
She has a passion for plants and gardening. So her love of macrame and plants go hand in hand.
Ali is a long time Leu Gardens volunteer and is thrilled to pass on her knowledge of this fun and easy craft.
Class is limited to 10 students for individualized instruction.
Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before class.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least 5 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
