Harry P. Leu Gardens is Orlando’s premier waterfront and garden wedding venue.  Located in downtown Orlando, Harry P. Leu Gardens provides an authentic, nature inspired backdrop with elegance and historical charm for wedding of all sizes. Lush landscapes, white arbors, floral blooms and the shaded canopies of the Gardens offer an event destination year-round.

The Butterfly Garden

Maximum Capacity: 180 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

The Butterfly Garden is a romantic setting where natural beauty and a century of history come together to create an unforgettable beginning!  Celebrate your love beneath the majestic canopy and lush greenery of a 100+ year old Southern Live Oak tree.

Nestled between the Cottage Garden and the Rose Garden in the heart of our historic district, this enchanting ceremony site offers a naturally beautiful setting for weddings up to 180 people.  With seasonal blooms just steps away, butterflies can be seen year round.  The Butterfly Garden provides a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

Conveniently located in the heart of the gardens, many amenities are steps away, including the get ready suites!  This ensures that you spend less time walking between spaces and more time enjoying your celebration.

The East Trellis

Maximum Capacity: 150 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

The East Trellis offers a secluded romantic setting surrounded by the beauty of nature!  A large Southern Live Oak tree anchors the site, while mature trees and lush foliage create a sense of privacy and tranquility.  Through the greenery, glimpses of the Historic Leu House Museum add a touch of timeless charm and Orlando heritage to your ceremony.

Centrally located in the heart of the gardens, it is conveniently close to the get ready suites.  The East Trellis combines accessibility with an intimate feel that creates an enchanting setting for exchanging vows.

The Landing

Maximum Capacity: 140 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

Elevated above the surrounding gardens, The Landing offers a distinctive ceremony setting with architectural elegance.

Its circular design, classic white ornamental balusters and sweeping views of the Rose Garden create a timeless backdrop that frames the couple beautifully against the garden landscape. Ideal for couples seeking a setting that blends refined architectural details with the natural beauty of the garden, The Landing can accommodate up to 140 people.

The Rose Garden

Maximum Capacity: 120 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

This romantic ceremony site surrounds your celebration with the timeless beauty of the gardens.  A charming space for exchanging vows, the Rose Garden offers an intimate connection to the gardens and the changing beauty of roses throughout the year.

Reserved for wedding ceremonies, the lower level of the Rose Garden creates a lovely sense of depth with the upper level of the Rose Garden as your backdrop for your special day. Please note that to support healthy growth and encourage a beautiful Spring bloom, our roses are pruned every February.  As a result, the Rose Garden's appearance may vary depending on the time of year with each season offering its own unique beauty.

The East Gazebo

Maximum Capacity: 50 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

Located off the main garden path and surrounded by lush tropical foliage, the East Gazebo offers a charming architectural focal point for a wedding ceremony of 50 people or less.  It's distinctive white latticework, stained glass window and brick pavers create a timeless setting that blends classic garden elegance with the natural beauty of the gardens. 

A small garden restroom is conveniently located nearby at the entrance of the Secret Garden, adding comfort and convenience for your guests.

The South Trellis

Maximum Capacity: 25 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

Ideal for smaller celebrations to exchange vows with your closest friends and family!

Tucked away in the South Woods, the South Trellis offers a secluded setting for couples seeking a more intimate ceremony.  This graceful white pergola frames the circular ceremony site.  The layered foliage in the area creates a sense of privacy and a peaceful woodland atmosphere.

The South Gazebo

Maximum Capacity: 25 people total (including the couple and wedding party)

Set within the tranquil surroundings of the South Woods, the South Gazebo offers a distinctive setting for couples seeking a classic garden wedding.  The secluded gazebo creates a beautiful focal point!  Couples exchange vows from the center of the gazebo, while your guests have a front row experience seated on the built-in benches inside.

Wedding Ceremonies include:

  • Exclusive use of one of our seven (7) outdoor ceremony locations for two (2) hours
  • Dedicated, complimentary parking for you and your guests
  • Chairs for all guests at the ceremony site
  • Use of two (2) dressing rooms
  • Time for a one (1) hour unassisted wedding rehearsal
  • Endless picturesque photography locations before and after your ceremony
  • Dedicated back-up rain location
  • Complimentary admission to the Gardens for up to four (4) individuals for pre-event planning visits (Regular rates apply for additional guests)

The Camellia Room

Wedding Ceremony & Receptions include the above amenities, as well as: 

  • Exclusive use of a Gardens banquet hall for four (4) hours (Additional time for decor installation, vendor load-in, or equipment set-up may be arranged for an added fee, based on availability)
  • Custom layout of room
  • Set-up and use of tables and banquet chairs (Table/Chair linens and decor are not included)
  • Use of in-house A/V equipment including drop-down screens, projectors, and integrated sound system is included with your rental, Supplemental accessories such as: HDMI adapters, converters, power strips and extension cords, etc. are not included and must be provided by the client or DJ/vendor
  • Use of the Gardens catering kitchen for required caterer.  All food and beverage service must be provided by one of our approved, dedicated catering partners

Wedding Fees

  • Total attendees include the couple, the wedding party, and all guests (including infants and children).
  • Wedding Rentals Fees (listed below) do not include the required damage deposit or event insurance fee.  Event insurance costs vary based on the total number of attendees and whether alcohol will be served (alcohol is only permitted at receptions).

Micro Wedding - Up to 50 total attendees

Friday - Sunday | $750

Monday - Thursday | $600

Micro Wedding + Reception

Friday - Sunday | $2,500

Monday - Thursday | $2,000

*Micro Wedding Receptions are held in either the Rose Room or Magnolia Room, based on the total number of attendees. Couples may upgrade to the Camellia Room with Veranda for an additional fee (subject to availability).

Standard Wedding - Up to 180 total attendees

Standard Wedding + Reception

General Wedding & Rental Details

Harry P Leu Gardens serves exclusively as a ceremony and reception venue and does not provide wedding planning or coordination services. We strongly recommend hiring a professional wedding coordinator to ensure a seamless, stress-free celebration.

We invite you to explore the information on the website to learn more about our seven (7) outdoor wedding ceremony locations and three (3) indoor reception options. You will find many answers to your initial planning questions including capacities, pricing, policies and more.

Please note that we book weddings and receptions up to one year in advance of the event date.  Additionally, due to our annual Dazzling Nights event, we do not host wedding ceremonies or receptions November 1 to mid-January each year.

At this time, we do not offer guided tours of ceremony sites or reception banquet rooms, however, you are encouraged to experience the wedding ceremony sites through a self-guided visit during regular hours with garden admission.

Wedding & Rental Reservations Required

We’re honored you’re considering Harry P. Leu Gardens for your special day. We offer a variety of beautiful spaces, rental opportunities, and customizable packages to help create a memorable celebration. All weddings, ceremonies, and private events must be reserved, approved, and paid for in advance through our Wedding & Rental Sales Department. Availability is limited.

Wedding ceremonies, vow exchanges, or gatherings involving an officiant, wedding party, or organized group are not permitted without an advance reservation. Guests who attempt to hold an unauthorized ceremony or organized event may be denied entry or escorted from the property.

Event Insurance

Harry P. Leu Gardens is owned and operated by the City of Orlando which requires all private events obtain a “Certificate of Insurance” reflecting coverage for bodily injury and property damage. This may be obtained through Harry P. Leu Gardens and the fee is based on the number of event attendees.
