Create Your Own Nature-Inspired Birdhouse

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll construct a birdhouse using wood elements and then transform it into a unique piece of garden art. Explore texture, color, pattern, and pre-washed natural materials as you create a design inspired by the beauty of the outdoors.
Your birdhouse can incorporate tree bark, pinecones, acorns, twigs, wood, pebbles, moss, stone glass, and other natural elements, along with acrylic paint and decorative details. Mix and match materials, experiment with color, and create a birdhouse that reflects your own style.
No previous art or building experience is necessary. Lindsay Agnew will guide you through the construction and painting process while encouraging creativity, experimentation, and personal expression.
Tickets Include:
- 2-hour guided workshop with artist Lindsay Agnew
- All materials and supplies provided
- Wood slices and birdhouse construction materials
- Tree bark, pinecones, acorns, twigs, wood, pebbles, moss, and stone glass
- Acrylic paints and painting supplies
- Decorative materials and embellishments
- Your completed handmade birdhouse to take home
Ages 12 and up.
Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least 5 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
