Intermediate Watercolors: A Beach Scene

Instructor: Ann Marie Palmer
This class will walk through the steps of creating a beach landscape in watercolor. The class will discuss basic composition skills, create a focal point, and build a full paint palette using primary colors. Additional emphasis will be placed on creating smooth washes and building textures.
Ann Marie will walk you through step-by-step instructions for painting your own watercolor creation. Participants are encouraged to have some experience with watercolor. Please e-mail the instructor if you have specific questions.

Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.

Ann Marie Palmer has been exploring the world of watercolor since 2019, through localclasses and private instruction. Her passion for painting botanicals and florals keeps herexploring Leu Gardens and other hidden gems in Orlando. Ann Marie is currently on theboard for the Central Florida Watercolor Society. Her art has been displayed at variouslocal events and juried shows, including City Arts Orlando, the Lake Mary Museum,Crealde School of Art, and the Oakland Arts and Heritage Center. Participants must withdraw from classes at least 5 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund. Eventbrite fees are non refundable. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund .
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
