Volunteer Open House

Join a vibrant community of nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and service-minded individuals who help make Harry P. Leu Gardens a beautiful and welcoming place for all. From greeting guests and leading tours to helping in the gardens and supporting special events, our volunteers play a vital role in everything we do. Whether you have a few hours a week or are looking for seasonal opportunities, there's a place for you to grow, give back, and connect.

Our Volunteer Open House is the start of your volunteering journey! We will cover all the different types of volunteer opportunities available including horticultural, educational, and event support. After the Open House, you will have the option of which team (or teams!) to join and will be given access to all our specific volunteer opportunities.

Schedule:
9:00am - Meet & greet staff and volunteers
9:30am - Official start and introduction
9:35am - Department breakdowns
9:50am - Orland Cares Tutorial
10:00am - Questions

We will end with an optional tour of the Gardens!

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

When

Location

Please park in the overflow parking lot if you are able. Take the first left as you enter the Gardens main entrance to park, then head over to the Welcome Center for the start of the Open House.
