Watercolor Butterfly: Pipevine Swallowtail

Instructor: Ann Marie Palmer
Learn to paint a beautiful pipevine swallowtail butterfly using foundational watercolor techniques. This class will focus on blending and layering paints to create the delicate wing pattern. This class is best for those with some previous watercolor experience. Students should feel comfortable with more detailed painting skills (painting within small spaces and adding thin lines).

Ann Marie Palmer has been exploring the world of watercolor since 2019, through localclasses and private instruction. Her passion for painting botanicals and florals keeps her exploring Leu Gardens and other hidden gems in Orlando. Ann Marie is currently on the board for the Central Florida Watercolor Society. Her art has been displayed at various local events and juried shows, including City Arts Orlando, the Lake Mary Museum, Crealde School of Art, Oakland Arts and Heritage Center and the SOBO Gallery in Winter Garden.

Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
